Regular meeting of the Academic Council of the University Center

On March 20, 2024, the Academic Council of the University Training Center of the National Police met in the cloister room of the National Police School of Ávila, under the chairmanship of the Director of the Center for High Police Studies of the Training and Improvement Division. The following attended this fourth meeting as members of the Council:
- The Heads of Area of Degree and Postgraduate and Research of the University Center.
- The Director of the Refresher and Specialization Centre and the Head of the Internal System of the National Police College, both of the Training and Development Division.
- The Rector in office, the Vice-Rector of Teaching and Educational Innovation and the Vice-Rector of Postgraduate and Permanent Training, as representatives of the University of Salamanca.
With the presence of the Director of the University Center and the assistance of the Secretary of the Council, the following issues were discussed, among others:
- The validation of the constitution of the Academic Council for the purposes of holding the session.
- The addendum of modification and extension of the agreement of attachment of the University Center to the University of Salamanca
- The status of the adscription agreement with other universities (University of Alcalá and Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
- Procedures carried out with the police chairs.
- Projects of new Masters with the University of Salamanca and Universidad Complutense de Madrid, as well as other national and international collaborations with other bodies.
- The planning in the Master in Security and Police Function that will be initiated in collaboration with the University of Salamanca.
- The progress in the Degree in Police Studies in its first two editions and in their respective academic courses.
- The status of the third call for the Degree in Police Studies recently published.
