Opening of the academic year 2023-2024

On October 25, under the chairmanship of the Minister of the Interior and the President of the Governing Council of the University Center (Director General of the Police), the 2023-2024 academic year was inaugruated in the facilities of the National Police School.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Ávila, the Undersecretary of Interior, the Deputy Operational Director, members of the Governing Board and other police, academic, civil and military authorities, as well as faculty and students of the University Center.
The Director of the University Center in his speech reviewed the actions and activities developed throughout the academic year 2022-2023, highlighting:
The constitution of the Governing Council.
The reading of the first doctoral thesis.
The teaching of cybersecurity, cybercrime and research methodology courses.
The creation of the editorial line of the University Center.
The activities of the different councils and commissions (Student Board, Practice Committees, Final Degree Papers, Grade Quality Studies...).
The academic results of the first course of the 1st edition of the Degree and the teaching programming.
The management of the budgetary, economic-financial and human resources regime.
