Cover of the Police Science Magazine

05/24/2023

Once the different activities of the University Training Centre of the National Police, O.A., have begun, it is reported that, in the planning of future actions, the creation is planned, within the editorial line of the University of Salamanca, of a specific section for the CUFPN, which will cover the following modalities:

  • SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL POLICE SCIENCE, digital, free, semiannual, freely accessible and with the possibility of publishing loose articles (continuous publication) for the interest of the authors in their preparation of the doctorate or obtain an academic accreditation. This magazine, now indexed, is the heir to the technical magazine Police Science.
  • COLLECTION OF DOCTORAL THESES, to publish in digital format, free of charge, the doctoral theses of the members of the General Directorate of the Police, regardless of the University where the doctorate has been completed.
  • COLLECTION OF MONOGRAPHS, with ANECA seal, in physical or digital format, for those who want to transform their doctoral thesis into a book. The economic issues of this possibility would be negotiated between the author and the publisher.
  • COLLECTION OF WORKS OF COMPLEMENTARY BIBLIOGRAPHY, in physical or digital format, for those who wish to create works on the Police Doctrine, within the scope of Police Science, and publish them as books registered with the corresponding ISBN. These publications could support selective processes or subjects within the scope of the Training and Development Division. The economic issues of this possibility will be negotiated between the party holding the authorship and the publisher.

Given the various possibilities offered so that police personnel or those working in the General Directorate of Police can publish their investigations and personal or group studies, under the certification of a scientific publication, we encourage interested persons to send us their contributions for each of the aforementioned modalities.

Likewise, it is appreciated that they contribute to the dissemination of this offer among doctoral students who have knowledge about their studies.
