Specialized training with virtual shooting simulator

The University Center and the University of Salmanca have developed a training in digital skills in the use of virtual shooting systems for the training of National Police personnel.
Within the framework of the digital transformation of the Public Administration, the General Directorate of the Police is carrying out a series of actions aimed at the introduction of new technologies for the training and training of members of the National Police in police shooting with a virtual and face-to-face hybrid training (theoretical and practical).
The shooting simulators create scenarios that allow training with more variables than the activities developed in traditional shooting galleries, allowing the versatility of scenarios, detailed analysis of performance through flexibility and personalization of learning, as well as the development of cognitive skills in a controlled environment that allows an objective measurement of progress and preparation for real situations, minimizing risks, without ignoring economic efficiency and environmental sustainability.
