VII International Congress: Global Security Challenges - New Security Challenges

Yesterday, the "VII International Congress was held: Global Security Challenges - New Security Challenges", organized by the International Institute for Global Security Studies (INISEG), in collaboration with this University Center.
The inaugural event of the congress was chaired by the Director General of the Police, accompanied by the Director of the University Center, the Director of INISEG and the Director of the Institute of International Legal Studies of the Rey Juan Carlos University.
The speakers who participated in different round tables analyzed the current situation of the challenges related to:
- Global security (Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine war conflicts, the new world economic and financial order and the Maghreb-Sahel scenario).
- Cybersecurity (Vulnerabilities, Smartcity, AI and digital transformation of police work).
- Security in the cities (violent groups, police collaboration and citizen security and social cohesion).
- Guarantees in police actions (police practices and jurisdictional vision of police actions).
The closing ceremony was chaired by the Director of the Office of Coordination and Studies of the State Secretariat for Security of the Ministry of the Interior.
