Distance Baccalaureate Training

The Centre for the Innovation and Development of Distance Education (CIDEAD) enables distance baccalaureate training through the Integrated Distance Learning Centre (CIERD).
The evaluation of the learning process is continuous, with sending of the activities/works and on-site tests (examinations) convened in various centers. For residents abroad, the tests are carried out, whenever possible, in the Spanish Embassies, in the Consulates General (not in honorary Consulates and Vice-Consulates) and in the Centers of the Spanish Educational Network abroad that are determined.
As a guideline, in the academic year 2022/2023 the applications for registration were open in the month of July.
The accreditation of the Baccalaureate degree, derived from Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, on Education (or from a qualification or equivalent studies for academic purposes), is a prerequisite for obtaining the equivalence of the appointment of Police Officer to that of Superior Technician regulated in Order ECI/1995/2007, of 29 June.
